The Heart Behind Earthit
Preeti has always believed in making mindful, sustainable choices—especially when it comes to waste. From old clothes and electronics to plastic, paper, and even unused medicine, she found ways to recycle it all by connecting with the right organizations.
But when it came to kitchen waste, things got tricky. She tried manual composting at home, but it quickly became clear—it just wasn’t practical. The process was time-consuming, messy, and difficult to manage in compact urban homes. The constant hassle of stinky bins and leaky plastic bags made things worse.
That’s when the idea for Earthit was born. Preeti envisioned a smart, simple way to handle kitchen waste—automated, fast, and mess-free. A clean solution for modern living, designed for people who care about the planet but don’t have hours to compost.
